Presumably. But I defer to my better-traveled colleagues.

And that notorious left wing rag The Globe & Mail presents "The New Climate Alamanac"

    http://www.theglobeandmail.com/servlet/story/RTGAM.20070216.wclimatealmanac/BNStory/ClimateChange/home

    Example:

    SEABIRD EMPTY-NEST SYNDROME

The trend is unmistakable. From penguin colonies in Antarctica to auklet rookeries near Russia's Kamchatka Peninsula, seabird populations have declined as the temperature of the Pacific has risen.

The ocean's temperature changes whenever El Nino, a warm water current that usually resides off South America, pushes north. In El Nino years, the sea surface warms, cold water upsurges that usually drive nutrients to the surface decline, and plankton production drops. That loss of a link in the food chain soon sparks a crash in seabird populations.

In the spring of 2005, biologists were given a shocking reminder of how closely linked all these factors are. On Triangle Island off the northern tip of Vancouver Island, on Tatoosh Island off the coast of Washington State and on the Farallon Islands west of San Francisco, the ocean warmed, plankton blooms failed to appear and seabirds experienced the most severe nesting failures ever witnessed.

One bad breeding season doesn't spell the end of a colony, but biologists are worried that global warming has started a trend: As surface temperatures go up, bird populations go down. Historically, El Nino has been cyclical, arriving every two to seven years. But global warming could change that and heat the North Pacific permanently. — Mark Hume

And, ot? I think we're treating you like the joke that you are.

I highly doubt that you liberals are capable of reading and comprehending what this means so I will put it simply for you. Scientist are gathering their temperature readings from urban environments which inherently have higher temperatures. This data is misleading and being used to increase the price of fuel.

    Cited from web site above

As if there is not enough irony in the above for one story. We have the situation that looking at the global distribution of "warming anomalies" going to make up IPCC "Global Warming", it is clear the the "noisy" temperature data in the old USSR gave Dr Jones and his Norwich Climate Research Unit their best hunting grounds to generate high magnitude warming anomalies. Unfortunately for the citizens of those far flung regions the only way to enjoy warmer winters is to live in an urban heat island (UHI) and/or have access to the fuel you need at a price you can afford. Kyoto will not affect UHI's but will make your life harder with higher energy prices more likely. The article below sets out chapter and verse how the Jones / IPCC high magnitude warming anomalies have been generated and how a more realistic survey of those data would see much less warming hence much less global warming.

Indians Network, safe in his Fortress of Soltiude, doesn't want to get any liberal on him.

Instead of posting real scientific evidence to back claims on man made global warming all the liberals on this site just like to act foolish. In reality the people backing man made global warming are not interested in having a real debate they are more interested in name calling and childish games. Reading real evidence in not on liberals priority lists because they will learn that they are wrong.
