I think the blonde is a dead ringer for Nina Blackwood, the MTV VJ.

I can see that, too. She actually looks like dozens of big-haired 1980s ladies.

So the Stones get a bad rap, including on here, for "hanging on too long," as if they've been putting out crap since "Some Girls."

Over the last few days, I've been giving "A Bigger Bang" a spin for the first time in a few years.

    You know what?

It's actually damned good. They aren't breaking ground any more, obviously, but I'd be hard pressed to say that the Stones have put out a bad album. I guess you could argue it's Stones-by-numbers, but definitely not bad music. Even in their 60s. No reason to stop.

    I'm a huge Stones fan.
But I don't think they've put out anything good in more than 20 years.
'Tie You Up' from Undercover = last good Stones song.

I love the Stones and would gladly participate in an intervention.
Others who love them should stop acting as enablers.

    I respectfully disagree.

That's cool, Dick. We're both fans, but we have differing opinions.
I think about the Stones' creative dilemma often.
Jagger's got an incredibly cool creative outlet now with Super Heavy. I think that album is great.

And when I'm involved, respect is probably misplaced.
    And that's a needle, not a dig.
    And that's another needle.
    And I'm an asshole.
    And I'm drunk.

And Yankee posted while I was posting.
I wouldn't have played the needle if I'd known someone else was in the process.

Buck, are you still up, or did you get some sleep between 3:30 and now?
