Ghostrider?

Hi.

 

If it's anything like the Spawn movie, it will suck.

Not sure I like the idea of a campy "Spirit of Vengeance."

Then again, I don't see Robert Downey, Jr. as Tony Stark, either...unless they want to play up the alcoholic angle.

 

When the heck is the Jonah Hex movie going to be made?

 

I'm on this movie, for sure. I'll probably see it this weekend.

The reviews are predictable. If you go in thinking it's Oscar fare, you'll be disappointed. If you realize Cage is just having a great time (he loved this character growing up), and Eva Mendes is showing a lot of skin, you'll have fun.

That's my problem with too many reviewers, they don't know when a movie is only trying to be fun, and not 'epic.'

This is a fun, throwaway movie, with some good-looking special effects. I can't wait.

 

It has Nick Cage, so I told the boy he could see it with his guy friends.

Nick Cage ruins everything he touches these days.

 

A movie doesn't have to be serious or epic to be good, of course.
But this movie is going to suck.

Oh, and SC, at least Nick has a shirtless scene in the movie.

You might think his acting sucks at the moment, but the guy is in shape. Sure you don't want to go?

On a related note, Nick is trying to get backing for Mendes to play She-Hulk in a screen adaptation of that comic. No lie.

He didn't ruin World Trade Center. But, I guess, it would be hard for him to fuck that movie up considering he was trapped under 40 feet of rumble during most of the film.

And Ghost Rider (two words, people!) is gonna suck, suck, suck. It may replace Catwoman as the worst comic-to-movie adaptation (and that's fuckin' saying something)!

 

If the consensus around here is that it sucks, I'll be seeing it the next time I have a day off.
