    Smaller ones up to 175-200 are the best for eating. Large boars are nasty.

    I’ve killed them with everything from arrows to .223 up to .338 and .44 Mag pistols. Smaller calibers work with good shot placement, including the ear hole. IMO the bigger calibers are better for putting them down with no muss or fuss.
