Relatively new to the party, but the combination of my sister's urging and having participated in the Providence Newspaper Guild Follies for the past four years has rendered me game. "Glee" definitely had an impact on this year's show - our director thought much more visually than his predecessors did (which took the cast some getting used to), and our closer was based on the show's treatment of "You Can't Always Get What You Want."
A little sample of our show's opening number (if you look carefully, I'm the balding guy with a gray beard and glasses in the back row), shamelessly ripping off "Mamma Mia." U.S. Rep. Patrick Kennedy then gets Letterman on us.

Any of you lucky enough to see the cast tour?

I already have two email chains going about it. I'd love to try and get there. Price of tickets and possible Memorial Day weekend plans are the main issues right now.

Pretty funny bit on Community last night about Glee.
Joel McHale's character broke up with his girlfriend, who watched Glee. McHale, while sobbing, said he didn't understand the show's appeal.
    It was funny.

Check your tivos to make sure it will record.
Mine says Glee follows an extra-long episode of American Idol. It might be that show's finale, I don't keep up and that Glee is also supposed to run long.
