My favorite was the one invoking Kids Inc. Course, I'm a sucker for that show.

 

The final song was not a Britney song, but the new Paramore song.

I think it was an interesting take with them basically recreating the music videos. I do like the complete craziness of the episodes (and the costuming) where they do the artist tributes.

The episode was OK. Last night was fun, but the recreating of music videos got old about halfway through Hit Me Baby One More Time, which felt like a Michele showcase shoehorned in because they have to give her a showcase.

Liked the performance of Toxic. Enjoyed Me Against the Music, a song I hadn't really heard before.

Have high hopes for next week. While I really enjoyed the show from the first episode, the episode that really hooked me was the one about Curt's (Kurt? come on, spelling mafia) relationship with his father, in which he was a kicker for the football team. Strong performances all around.

Since then, I've looked for this show to knock me over like it did that night.

As long as this is a topic: Michele is a looker, but to me she's not even the prettiest girl on the show. Both Quinn and Santana are just as attractive, if not moreso.

 

Back in one of the first episodes (the one where they try to poach Duckface from Full House from Vocal Adrenaline to choreograph a number), he basically tells her she needs to have a nose job and she said if Barbra Streisand didn't need one, neither did she.

I like absolutely everything about her, other than the suspicion she is not really acting in this role. I'd find a way to deal with the maintenance though!

 

Gawker did a nice job of summarizing Rachel in this young season.

"What was great about Rachel when the show started was that she was an awful, self-centered famewhore, but she was tragically flawed and delusional which made her likable. She was the thwarted striver in all of us. Now she's just annoying. She's your best friend's obnoxious girlfriend who you always think, "Man, why doesn't he dump her?" but he never does, and she's always showing up at brunch with some passive aggressive comment or domineering plan and it just ruins your whole day. Eventually she gets so bad you stop calling your friend until eventually he dumps her and he's all like, "Bro, why didn't you warn me." That's what Rachel is like."
