The student was out of line, but man if a professor did that to me there would be real issues. Either I would be up in his face cussing him in front of the class or I would politely tell him that it is time for him to be creative in figuring out how he is going to pay to fix my cell phone rather than being creative in teaching advanced classes.
That teacher is a fucktard.
