Going to a concert alone

If you have issues with going to things alone, I suggest reading "Party of One" by Anneli Rufus. It's OK to be alone sometimes. Of course, she goes overboard in her book with examples, but c'est la vie.

I go to movies alone all the time... I've never thought anything of it...

I've never gone to a concert alone, not that there's anything wrong with it. It's just never been an option...

I flew to New Orleans and saw the Stones by myself.

I also saw an incredible U2 show by myself.

I always play the starring role

Everyone should think of Green Day at least once a day.

Dookie is one of the quality albums of all time.

Without a doubt. It was the album that got me into music. My first album was Green Day's Insomniac, followed by Dookie. It totally changed the music industry and influenced just about every one of my favorite bands. From track No. 1 (Burnout) to No. 14 (F.O.D) and the secret track, the album is a masterpiece.

In fact, that album will now be spinning on my way to the 3 p.m. assignment.

Saw them myself last month. The wife's a fan from our collge days. I was surprised at how good the show was and had forgotten how many solid tunes they put out. I'd see them again.
