Wife went to the new Pyscho place. Have to ask her what she thought.

But what the same ownership did to Stand Up Frank's just isn't right, as A_QB will testify.

This Al's isn't what MM is asking about, that place is down by the U, but this was a great bar in Edina. Closed last summer. RIP Al's:

Alright, time to bring out the big guns.

Hit the Vegas Lounge for karaoke followed by entertainment at the Double Deuce.

    Leave the girlfriend, though.

My go-to spaghetti sauce is the recipe from Donatelli's.

Worth noting that the weather in Minneapolis is forecast to be about nearly 20 degrees cooler and I don't think they worry much about the heat index, but if they do, it will be about 30 degrees cooler there.

The low forecast for here then is hotter than the predicted high there.

Dear God in Heaven, I love living in the South, but why did you have to make it so damn hot in the summer?

Note to the thread starter: Word on the street is that the Sofitel is out of alcohol..

Move it over to the Sheraton next door. The old Radisson South. Lots of Minnesota history there. Like the time a Viking defensive lineman told the police his arms were stronger than their guns.

Might also want to look at that weekend forecast again.

We are rock solid for the Sofitel. That hotel is hosting the reception and dinner after the wedding and, as a result, we got a deal on the room rate.

I noted earlier that the forecast was inching up heat wise in Minneapolis. *shrug* It will still be cooler there than here.

Only the surface of the sun is hotter than here.

Going to the shores of Lake Minnetoka for the rehearsal dinner / welcome picnic on Friday. Dude hosting it is supposed to be crazy rich. Like I saw an article that called him the Bill Gates of Minnesota.

    Again *shrug*

Why don't you purify yourself in the waters of Lake Minnetonka?

Note to the thread starter: I was kidding about the hotel and alcohol thing.

I saw on the other thread your post about how current events might affect your trip. Calm down, you will be fine.

And on behalf of everyone who spent valuable internet massage board time on this thread offering you help and/or advice, you are welcome.

Sounds like you better stock up on booze in Clear Lake, Iowa. Nothing but windmills to the state line from there.
