Spearmint Rhino for sure. And the pool at the Mirage has some very nice scenery.

(Oops. Forgot I'm using my real name on here)

Check that. Stick with the quarter slots, the Hoover Dam and perhaps a sky diving experience in Red Rock Canyon. ;D ;D

Sahara had lots of $5 blackjack tables when I was there in October and if you have a Player's card, the buffet is only $6.95 instead of $12.95. Also, if you sign up for a Player's card at the Hooters casino, in October they gave you $200 of free slot play (you can't just cash out the money; you have to try and reach a certain number of credits to win cash) and you also got free show tickets. I saw Bobby Slayton (the tickets said they were $37) and he was very, very funny.

And, as I always do on Vegas threads, go to the Fireside Lounge for at least one drink.

Did that last month when I was there ... went through that $200 in 3 minutes. Didn't hit once. But Hooters was surprisingly a blast to gamble at (besides the Hooters girls ... which are probably more dressed than some of the cocktail waitresses at other casinos). Sure, it's not the biggest casino or the most well kept, but it was really laid back ... like a bit of downtown on the Strip.

If you have a car, go to Hash House A Go-Go for breakfast and you won't have to eat again until dinner. Huge portions of interesting and good food. Another good spot if you have a car that's not far from the strip is the bbq at Ellis Island Casino. Better yet, check out lasvegasadvisor.com for tips

  6. If you are staying at the Stratosphere - then you have to do the revolving bar/restaurant. Just go there for a couple of Fat Tire beers - it takes a little over an hour to do the full revolution but the view is excellent. Be sure to go there during the day (at night you just see little dots of lights). Also go out on the observation deck while you are up there - cool to be up 1,000 feet off the strip.

The Ghost bar at the Rio is the best place to watch the sun set if you are with a honey.

Lots of $3 crap tables down on Fremont street. You are better off doing your gambling there.

I felt like Fremont was a waste of time.

What do you want to do? Drink? Go clubbing? Good buffets? PM me, just went on a trip a few months back and it was awesome.

Honestly, don't go to Fremont for $3 dollar craps. The payouts are horse shit. You are better off playing $5 or $10 hands at Bills Gamblin Hall and Saloon right next to the Flamingo.

Also, make sure you check out Planet Hollywood, they have a great buffet, great sportsbook and awesome club, Prive.

Best club of all is Tryst at the Wynn, get a VIP card from a vendor on the street, make sure you tip him. Cover is usually $50 but with a pass it is free.

Oh yeah almost forgot, sign up for a players card at Planet Hollywood and get 3 coupons for $5 off a buffet that is best in Vegas. Don't waste your time on 2 for 1 drinks... Go to Casino Royale, the dumpiest place in the world for dollar Michelobs. Oh yeah and if you want to get wrecked go to Toby Keith Bar in Harrah's $12 mixed druinks have 5 shots in them. They made them so strong it was well worth it.

Also, Harrah's and Bills have $5 steak and egg dinners after midnight and Bills has a sweet after hours club that opens at 3 am... It is a late night must after all else closes down.

Ellis Island, behind the flamingo also has a great meal for $6.95. Steak, potato, vegatable, salad and 20 oz beer. Just ask for the special. Great meal.

If you want to do something sports related you can also go see Pete Rose at the Forum Shop at Caesars. He signs autographs for some ungodly price.

Yeah they made us play with "200 dollars" but its only good on certain machines when we went. Had to play $50 pulls. Lasted all of 10 seconds. Then when I went to use my match play, they didn't allow my call bet after they said they would and it cost me $30 bones. So I grabbed a free drink and bounced.

Player's club at Tropicana gets you a free shirt and a deck of cards. Most other places get you $10 in free play. Free fun book at Planet Hollywood. Buy one get one free beers at Casino Royale and the beers are a buck to begin with.

Only got to walk through ph (Planet Hollywood) when I was there last month, but I came away VERY impressed from what I saw. If anyone has seen "21," it's where they did most of their gambling.

ph will be where I stay the next time out there ... I like sample different casinos instead of going to the same one over and over.

I've said this before, and it will no doubt incite a riot, but if you're in the mood go see Carrot Top. That guy is hilarious.

Oh, and speaking of shows, if you're going to go to any well-publicized shows, visit the Half-Price Ticket counter located near the giant Coke bottle. You can get amazing prices on just about every show. They sell out fast though, so go there at around 10 a.m. when it opens.

They also have deals for dinners but I haven't checked it out so I can't say for sure if it's worth it.

Oh, and whatever you do, avoid calling the hookers on the cards the Mexicans give you up and down the strip. The deals they advertise are rip offs and they'll steal your money. When I was 18, some buddies and I called one of them to see if we could get a stripper to come to our room and found out it's all a giant scam. Thankfully we didn't go through with it though.
