Which clubs does he leave out to carry all those putters? Or does he carry more than 14 clubs?

We only impose the 14-club rule for formal, club-sanctioned tournaments. You can carry as many as you want for everyday play.

Of course, seeing as how I can barely hit the ones I've got, I don't know how carrying others would do any good.

In our Sunday games, if it's in the leather, it's typically good.
if it's even close to the leather, and you even look at them to putt it, or better yet if you lay your putter down to measure it, the standard response is "PICK THAT SHIT UP."
Even better is if you don't concede one that is borderline, the always standard response is "BRING YOUR PUTTERS MOTHER FUCKERS."

Being a holiday weekend, there was a small group out yesterday that played 36.
Good friend of mine goes 69-67, and loses $4.
    His partner goes 84-75.
He's going to a Wal-Mart this morning to look for a back-brace to wear on teebox tomorrow morning.
We are absolutely ruthless to one another.

There are two guys in our normal group that are easily the slowest.
The rest of us play really fast. So fast, it's to the point we don't even get yardages. This is our home track. We know this bush is 130. That tree is 150. You get the idea.
One of the slow ones has a range finder on his cart. Pulls a club. Couple of practice swings. Gets a different club. Fans it straight right out of bounds. We were on a different hole, but we could hear his partner say "We waited all that fucking time for you to do that?!?!?"

Slow play drives me bonkers. Gotta get out early and set the pace. First group? If you play in over 4 hours, you're doing it wrong. And that's walking.
