Good gawd, it's frickin' hot!

I just heard on the news that 26 states hit 100 degrees today. Four hit 110.

I now raise a toast to the folks that invented air conditioning.

And now some utility companies are predicting rolling blackouts due to the heat wave. Fun, fun, fun.

 

106 here right now. Another bird just exploded.

 

Predicted high of 107 - the next two days. Ugh.

 

Relief is on the way, folks. "Only" 99 on Saturday.

The amazing part of this forecast is that it's projected to be 99 degrees! warmer on Saturday than Friday here ...

 

Monday it reached at least 90 in every state but Alaska, Hawaii and North Dakota.
