    That's my problem with it. Doesn't seem to make sense to call your readers losers. If he was making fun of Schilling, this could have been a good column.

    Shaughnessy skated by on the "curse" for about 20 years. When the Red Sox won the World Series, he lost the source of about 90 percent of his material. Since then, he seems to be filling the void by simply lashing out like an angry teenager, whether it be aimed at individual Red Sox players or his readers.
