I didn't mind the movie. But I can't believe it was well-received.

 

I don't think it was well-received. I think it was more like the reviews said he wasn't as bad as the movie, or some other such faint praise.

 

Wow. Now I have a new mission. Have to go thru my Field of Dreams DVD and see if I can spot Damon in the Fenway crowd.

 

I knew that was Damon's voice in The Majestic (a very, very underrated movie). But where's his credit for Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back?

No, I know that. So was Affleck and Gus van Zant. I mean on that list, where is his credit?

 

I like Depp, but he has done some stinkers -- Secret Window, Sleepy Hollow and Cry Baby are three examples I've seen. I'm sure some of his others I've missed were bad too.
He has been on a roll lately, though.

 

Sleepy Hollow was not a stinker, and Cry Baby was supposed to be bad. It was a John Waters movie, for Jeebus' sake.
