Actually, the kid is about to enter the challenging age for a Down's case. First five months are much easier.

And, governing Alaska is MUCH less time-demanding.

OK, so he's playin' the voters. How was that any different that Obama burying one of the major judicial issues of this election by softly and gingerly mentioning the passion of gay rights summed up in visiting sick loved ones in hospitals? Like maybe if he plays down the issue, it will appeal more to the undecided bloc? If that wasn't weak, I don't know what is.

I think it would be much more difficult for a Hillary to manage a marriage involving a player than for Palin to provide for her child.

A staunch pro life young female who was the mayor of Wasilla, Alaska a couple years ago? Who might be a heartbeat away from the presidency?

I'm sure Biden is smart enough to take directions. The Obama team knows how to set the tone. I'm not worried.

What happens when they start talking about foreign policy? It's going to get ugly.

And no surprise, but Carl Cameron of Fox had it first (firsthand from the campaign) King may have had it first (secondhand from the campaign).
Palin is a hell of a pick, and every paper and tabloid TV show is going to want to go moose hunting with her and see her with her baby, when will she campaign? 67 day to the election?

And I'll really be interested in seeing if this moves the needle among women. Some well-known women are admired by women in general, others are hated for reasons I can't appreciate.
