Danny Sheridan is on line 2...

Wow. I have no idea who she is and her background. Now, I'll have to spend all day on Wiki to read up on her.

It's too early for me to call this a desperate pick, then again Obama chose the lesser of two evils (Biden over HRC). HRC's loonies could not and would not accept HRC being a second banana to him.

She has no idea what's coming. It will be brutal.

I'd say the same thing about an inexperienced man from a small state.

Alaskan politics vs. the MSM/blogs? Ouch.

There have been lots of rumors, apparently, that her teenage daughter actually gave birth to the baby.

I asked her point blank if it was because he was black, and she said no.

She said she just didn't know anything about Obama. And this is someone who has bashed Bush for a solid 2 years.

Biden as a president (assuming the liberals want to put a two decade padlock on the White House) would be 73 upon beginning his term and 81 if he serves two terms.

    I think that's a drawback.

Logical folo: "Well, why haven't you made an effort to learn about Obama?"

The wikipedia entry someone posted earlier said her oldest son's name was Track. That's no better than Trick, but which is it?

    Huh?

He would have to get voted in at 73.

BTW, same age Reagan was before Term 2.

Ultimately, here's what this choice does:

    1. Throw back into play a lot of women voters, and all disaffected HRC supporters.

    2. Take away what I thought was easily McCain's best issue: Obama's experience.

Palin's married to an Eskimo (really). I'm sure Chris Matthews is getting another chill and Russert is banging on the roof of his coffin. This is hands down the best election season I can remember in my lifetime. Crazy stuff.
