    We'll have to see with the polling, unfortunately probably in more than a week, after the pick has had time to settle, and we've heard more from Palin, like today and in her convention speech.

    What McCain's hoping is this'll give women swing voters an extra reason to go for him. What Obama's hoping for is a backlash, similar to what some warned would happen if Obama picked Sebelius instead of HRC.

    I completely respect her decision. Politics, as everyone here can attest, is an extremely personal thing. It was just interesting to me to see the switch happen, because she's been pretty vocal about her thoughts about Bush.

    But I guess that goes to show that just because you're voting Republican doesn't mean you're voting for Bush, does it?
