Since I posted this originally, I'll bite: No one's saying that. It's just a fear I have, considering the way McCain and his staff are constantly playing the POW card of late. They're using it to brush off any question or criticism right now and act almost insulted that those issues can even be brought up because he spent 5 1/2 years imprisoned. I'm just saying I could see Palin -- or the campaign's people, anyway -- playing the same card. That's all.

Sorry, but putting this ethically-challenged young woman who was mayor of a small town in Alaska until 18 months ago behind a 72-year old man with a history of cancer is NOT putting America first.

It's official. The Republicans have just handed Obama the presidency. How in the fuck are you going to pick a female with such a limited experience track record, as theVP? Knowing that McCain is just thisclose to having an up close and personal meeting with The Grim Reaper, someone should have been bright enough to see this scene. Congrats to the Dems for kicking that Republican long before November.
