    I'm not about to wade through 12 pages, but did Romney not want the job or did McCain just choose Palin? He may have had his shortcomings, but I think Mitt may have been the best choice. Not that it would have made much difference, but Gov. Palin? Really? Ugh.

    I really hope Palin doesn't say "Drill Here. Drill Now."

    All kidding aside, I have tremendous respect for McCain for having the balls to make this pick and for Palin, whom I'm sure has had to put up with more than her share of BS (including mine just now) to rise up and take control of her government.

    Which has been raised by pretty much everyone.

    But when McCain's leading argument is that it would be dangerous -- not just ill advised or against your core message -- but dangerous to the American people to vote for someone a resume as thin as Obama's, it makes no sense to choose Palin.

    Literally, no. Obama's been in the U.S. Senate for two more years than Sarah Palin has been governor of a faraway state. They're both inexperienced, but Palin more so.
