    Very good point. This choice, frankly, makes sense only if the overriding purpose of their VP choice was to win over all those disaffected Hillary supporters--who, I hope, would be smart enough to see through those cynical motives.

    And, frankly, the age and experience discrepancy on the Republican ticket is a bit jarring. On one end is the 72 year old who's been around too long. On the other you have the least experienced person ever to appear on a presidential ticket. Nowhere is anyone with the right amount of experience.
