    Obama's choice seems far less calculated. That says a lot about him beyond his years. And Bill Clinton didn't have a great big experience chip in front of him, really.

    I feel like I've just been lectured by an elementary-school principal.

    And where the hell is Pilot? Palin not only played the Russia card, she tried to make a poker hand out of it. Anybody still think that the GOP won't keep playing the Russia card for the next two months?

    I am honestly, with all the good faith I can muster, trying to figure out what this selection adds to the ticket, and how it is going to help produce a victory in November.

    For the life of me, I cannot think of a single thing.

    Rallying the base on the red-meat issues? There are much, much more qualified people he could have chosen that would fit the bill.

    I've posted from Day One that McCain will win. For the first time, I'm not so sure.
