Like I said, it will be her vs. Hillary if the GOP wins this time.

This is my wife's exact argument. She can't believe a mom would do this. It's one thing to work in Alaska as governor; it's another to spend the next two months flying back and forth across the country when you have a four-month old -- special needs or not. Stay at home dad? Great. Help around the house? Good. But running for VP is a different animal. Where are all the family values and family first GOPers when you need them? She's standing behind a sign that says Country First. Sorry little fella; know where you stand in mom's pecking order.

I'm sure she is one HELL of a governor of Alaska and was probably a great mayor of a town smaller than the audience Obama spoke to in February when he used my office as a changing room.
No doubt she's a quality woman, mom, all that jank.

Is she ready to be president? Yes or no.

Ad featuring scandal-plagued Ted Stevens endorsing Sarah Palin for governor in 2006 mysteriously vanishes from her campaign Web site.

I disagree. Hillary had her chance, it's over.

You best get your facts right on that. This is the investigation the state legislature is looking into as mentioned above. This situation wasn't about him divorcing her sister, it was about this jerkoff physically and mentally abusing her sister. And she would have done the same for any other woman in the state.

    Keep spinning kids. Keep spinning.

Anyway, as far as Palin goes, I have a hell of a lot of respect for her.

It ain't easy to spit in the eye of big oil in Alaska (seeing as that's where the free $1,000+ a year comes from, and man, everyone loves that divy check) but that's how she got elected governor. THE issue was the natural gas pipeline. And her stance was basically she wasn't going to give away Alaska's natural resources for a song, which was basically the plan on the table (some really sweet tax breaks to get oil companies to build a pipeline that was going to net them billions down the road) and she's been an outspoken critic of companies not drilling on land they've leased.

She's one of the smartest people I've met, and she seems to have some damn good political instincts. I think it might be a mistake to underestimate her.

That said, I have no idea if she's ready for prime time yet. I guess we'll see. I've always just assumed her career arc was going to make her a senator some day.

This is without a doubt the only choice that will at least make me rethink my vote. I really like this woman.

First, he came pretty damn close to saying what you're saying no one is saying. many people will need help to raise a Downs baby. are you arguing that anyone who does has to put their professional life on hold? For how long? Should she have resigned as governor? Especially if her husband is at home, is it any of your business?

Perhaps you should get your facts straight.
