25 pages seems like a lot for any VP pick, btw. I mean, McCain might be on the older side, but the odds he dies in office are still very, very small.

NBC's First Read has this Palin bio nugget: "She also did work as a TV sports reporter."

    Boom goes the dynamite!

    Please.

She wouldn't want to resign as VP to run for Senate, I'd guess. :)

Yet you looked at what his opponent did to him in the primary and still pulled the lever for him.

Says a lot about your judgment in the voting booth.

    25% chance
    50% if reelected

How so? Not snarking or anything. Seriously asking what makes you say she's more ready.
Keep in mind, I'm aware he's not bent over from all the experience he's lugging on his back. I do think he's well down the path from where she is now.

McCain does not have to make the statement - they can just roll the Biden clip and let Joe say it for him.

She is going to be a nightmare for the Democrats.
Can't wait to see "plugs' attack her in debate and see how that goes over with the soccer moms.

I haven't seen this brought up:

Isn't the VP supposed to function as an "attack dog." What is she going to criticize Obama/Biden about without sounding like a fraud?

Obama looks different and has less experience in the Senate. To counter that, you win the perception battle. You pick Romney and you appeal to the scores of voters who are afraid to "gamble" on the new guy. You don't pick another gamble. Then people feel like they're taking a chance with either choice and are more likely to pay attention to other factors, like personality and issues.

For everyone claiming that Palin "has more experience" than Obama, can at least one of you make a case, instead of just stating it as fact? Thanks in advance.
