    My reading skills are fine.

For that matter, I have seen points I brought up a dozen pages ago brought up recently as if they are breaking news.

Thanks for the table FDP. Number I took from it was 12.5 and he'll have a lot better preventative medicine (probably the best in the world) and overall health care than the average person in that table, so McCain's number has to be significantly lower, I'd assume.

Anyway, I'm reclaiming my life from this VP stuff. Everyone's been asking me all day about it. If there's a subject you think my unique brand of Alaska experience can shed light on, PM it to me and I'll give you an answer if I have one (I make no promises).

Anyway, time to live a bit. Later.

"As for that VP talk all the time, I'll tell you, I still can't answer that question until somebody answers for me what is it exactly that the VP does every day?"

I suppose someone gave her an explanation before she said "yes."

    Not quite that messy.

All life expectancies are skewed low by the number of people who die of non-health issues at a young age.

McCain avoided getting hit by a car, getting murdered, and everything else that kills people in their 20s-60s to skew the numbers.

There are a lot of old people at the place I play tennis. Most were in their 60s when I met them in 1991. I know of only about 2-3 that have died 17 years later.

I was a Hilary supporter, too, and I'm over it. TWO months ago. Didn't make it close to the convention.
Whatever. I'll bend. No ass kicking.
But, uh, um, well. He is on the ticket. She isn't. That took some doing on his part and gives him some serious cred. At least to me.
I'm sure Miss Mayor of 9000town Alaska won't agree.
    Can Moose vote?

Beat her, yes. Kicked her ass hard, no, especially not at the end.

So, a natural-causes lifespan average for U.S. males would be in the 80s?

And while I see what both you and TBF are saying, the fact that Obama has gone and done these things can make him look presidential in some people's eyes.

There's no way it makes a huge difference, and certainly pales in comparison to the difference his address last night will make, but humans are a visual people, and if utilized properly images like that cannot look anything but impressive.
