Because lying keeps the objective alive.

    I would do it, too.

    It's a great post.

A lot of HRC supporters are looking for a reason to vote for McCain. I think Palin would give a lot of them that reason.

It's strange that this hasn't leaked yet. You'd think the McCain camp would want it out right now. The morning shows are only going to talk about Obama's speech this morning until they actually get confirmation on a VP, then I think the subject will switch. People are going to work now, turning off their TVs, watching clips of Obama's speech and hearing more speculation on the VP search than there was last night. I figured McCain would be trying to bump Obama as soon as possible, even with a middle-of-the-night leak like what happened with Biden. Instead, it's going to get announced in the middle of the day when fewer people are paying attention.

Yeah, then he can wreck America's schools just like he destroyed Florida's schools! 48th in average ACT scores! Forty-fucking-eighth! Woo-hoo! Brilliant work, Jeb!

    .
DC, I said the same thing last week when Biden said "I'm not the guy." Of course, I guess he didn't know that at the time. And the spokesperson in Alaska may as well have added "as far as I know."

    Forty-fucking-eighth! Standardized testing rools!

Somebody needs to take the FCAT books and shove every goddamned one of them so far up Jeb's ass that they start coming out his mouth.

Does this woman have two teen-age sons? Who the hell else could have been on that plane?

I knew there was no way it would be Mitt. His Mormonism and his earlier pro-choice stance would have driven millions of fundies away from the booth.

I would've bet the farm on Pawlenty. That's why I'm not a betting man.

Isn't this kind of silly, given that the press is going to keep throwing names out there, and there are only a few viable names? Does the campaign have to sheepishly admit, 'Oh, you guessed!' when the right name sticks to the wall?
