I'm not seeking any gotcha moment. But it does go to show that framing a campaign or candidate with one theme is not only dangerous but kind of dumb.

I said it earlier - the question of whether Obama is ready to be president has been answered by McCain. YES!
This is a shallow pick. The question in people's minds is no longer about Obama's readiness, but McCain's judgement.

I think she's kinda hot, for an older chick. I also like the hockey mom thing.

That said, I'm glad I'm voting for Obama.

 

You know, I kind of understand this thinking, but here's the thing:

We're all, by definition, news junkies. We're talking about it a lot more than most folks.

And the same folks who are doing that talking? Voting 40-something to 5 for Obama on the poll two posts up.

 

Tony, this talking point is dead. Obama's policy details are 10 times more detailed on his Web site than McCain's.

yes. I think it's an interesting pick....but I'm more amazed that McCain is actually this close in the polls. If the Democrats can't win this year, they need to blow it up and reinvent their message.
