  1. I think it's going to be tough for the Obama camp to go after her because a lot of middle America will see it as the same as going after somebody daughter. Seriously.

She's already laid down her record.

Put the abortion issue aside . . .

    Creationist.

    Pro-censorship.

    Pat Buchanan spearcarrier.

Oh, what fun it is to ride . . .

    A choice, we will have.

  3. A white guy did. Barack Obama.

  4. The idea of Obama as an "empty suit" has long, long since been discredited. He's absolutely brilliant. Read his books. Brilliant.

Now, you don't have to agree with him. I don't agree with him on everything by a long shot. And you don't have to vote for him.

But he in no way, now how resembles an "empty suit."

Unless she has some unknown skeletons in the closet she is virtually bullet proof .

She is the 3rd rail for the Dems.

Her speech this week will set the tone and either make or break her and McCain.

I went away for about 18 hours and this was still on top!
    I love this board!
boom has a point. I'm very eager to hear her speech.
She shows up wearing moose antlers, I may vote Republican!

  7. That's exactly what I'm starting to think. They can't be aggressive with her at all, because it's going to look like they're picking on her. There's so many factors there - the perception that the Dems mistreated Hillary Clinton, her youth compared to McCain's age, her girl-next-door good looks, her five children.

She's almost unassailable. Almost like McCain's human shield.

I'd rather make fun of her than McCain.

Exactly - raise the question of her ability to run her family and the country at the same time - it will be goodbye Joe we gotta go.

Raise the issue of her pro life stance- see pictures of her beautiful baby that she is still nursing.

If the words of Hillary's speech last Tuesday resonated with you then clearly you have to be excited about McCain's choice.

Sarah Palin's life is her own, and a happy one it seems to be. The issue is her rabid belief God told her to stick her nose in other's people's business.
Library censorship? This woman hold opinions most voters don't. So do I, but I ain't running for anything.

The best sarcasm is the sneaky kind.

Burr was never President and Nixon, well, resigned.

    Good stuff.

  12. Are you so sure that most swing voters in places like Ohio, Michigan and Pennsylvania don't believe in, say, library censorship? I'm not.
