How much does James get per story, $50 a pop?

I find it much more annoying when somebody's name is misspelled. Misspelling it EIGHT times is egregious. I remember when Nate McLouth got traded to Atlanta, visiting team's broadcasts would, when showing the team's starting lineups, spell it McClouth. That shit went on for months with nobody correcting the error.

And then the Braves missed the playoffs this year. The world is an imperfect place.

Which he misspells the name wrong is not good, that is noted. Which would have been worse, in my opinion, if he had done which once. He thought it was spelled one way, that he repeated consistently. He was wrong, that has been noted. Which's all I have to say about which.

True. Today's article was garbage. Anybody could have written it. Let's hope his future articles offer some advanced statistics similar to the ones that made him relevant.

His writing ability made him as relevant as any statistical analysis he did. He is a very good writer.

Oh, they're not real big on fixing things mid-stream.

Did he profess that/which Nolan Ryan wasn't a good pitcher, like he did in his initial Baseball Abstract, which/that is the reason I threw it in the trash and never gave him serious consideration?

Is that what Bill James wrote? That Nolan Ryan is not good? It's a shame that you threw that book in the trash so we can't take a look at what Bill James actually wrote.

I do know that in his Historical Baseball Abstract, James ranks Ryan as the 24th best pitcher of all time, which means that the 25-10,000th pitchers of all-time must suck. I also know that Bill James has written that Nolan Ryan was not a great pitcher. Perhaps you are confusing your adjectives?
