No, I'm good. I see your point. I'm not here to start fights, open old wounds. I enjoy the peace we've achieved.

Honestly, I'm excited to read that story; probably tomorrow. I drove through the state of Texas a few summers ago and at every stop, all everyone wanted to talk about was the upcoming high school season. We stopped in Odessa to see the stadium. Found some groundscrew guy, who let us in, took us up to the press box and onto the field, and generally was the nicest guy I've ever met. Narrowly escaped a slew of black widow spiders in the press box. I about pissed my pants. He laughed his ass off.

I mean this respectfully- how is it not the same narrative as the others?

Its a good story. I also followed a link, and also read Van Nattas story on Jerry Jones.
    Pretty interesting.

Texas football is right there with Southern football stories as part of a great genre.
Western PA football stories are a distant 2nd because the food is not as good.

Maybe he heard that Elvis Grbac now lives in Texas and wants to knock on his door and finally get that interview.

I only breezed through Thompson's Texas story, mostly the pictures, but it looks like T. Boone Pickens landed himself a nice piece of Dallas divorcee MILF ass.
