Great Songs (underrated and long-forgotten category)

Great call. Awesome, stuttering guitar riff in that one. "Mystery Achievement" from that album and "Cuban Slide" from their EP would be two other Pretenders' classics.

On the Billy Joel stuff -- "Until the Night" is probably my favorite song of his and I've never heard it once on the radio. Both "Zanzibar" and "The Night is Still Young" are in my top 5 of his.

Off the top of my head:

    "Shine Silently" -- Nils Lofgren
    "Just Coolin" -- Levert
    "Distant Lover" -- Marvin Gaye
"They Reminisce Over You" -- Pete Rock and CL Smooth
"Grandma's Hands" "Use Me" and "Who is He" -- Bill Withers (a truly underrated artist)
"Love TKO" -- Teddy Bear (another guys who was lost in the shuffle)
In the inevitible Bruce division -- "Shut out the Light", "Long Time Comin'" and "Thundercrack" to name 3

I'll echo "Fade Into You" and "Laura."

"The Sweetest Decline" and "Couldn't Cause Me Harm,'' Beth Orton.
"2 Kool 2 Be 4Gotten," Lucinda Willaims (even if I hate cutesy-poo spellings like that).
"Go Down Easy," "Latter Days," and "Faithfully Dangerous,'' Over The Rhine.

Sorry to continue the Billyjack, but I've always really liked "This Is The Time."
