"The singer's a Shepherd's Bush geezer who just wants everything to be a big laugh ..."

"Slit Skirts" is an all-time fav. Other great obscure Pete songs: "My Baby Gives it Away" and "Face Dances" (the song, not the album).

'Who Sell Out' is easily their most underrated album, and IMO their third-best (after 'Who's Next' and 'Quadrophenia'). Favs incllude "Odorono", "I Can't Reach You" and "Armenia: City in the Sky". And from 'WBN,' let's not forget "However Much I Booze"!!!

"The Who Sell Out" is an amazing record. I may like it even more than "Who's Next" because classic rock radio hasn't pounded the life out of it.

Excellent thread, lots of good music and memories here.

"If I had a rocket launcher," Bruce Cockburn.

"Hot Burrito No. 2," by the FBB's.

"If I can hold you tonight," and "Idaho," by the BoDeans. Wisconsin's finest.

    Love Little Steven.

"The Fever" by SSJ is one of the Jukes' classic.

"Mountains and Marion," "Cotton Jenny," by Gordon Lightfoot.

Millworker is one of JT's best. His early 1980's albums, like "Flag," were very under-appreciated, I think.

I have a lot of the pre-Who By Numbers stuff too. Might have to re-invest in a turntable.

Yes, although it was released in Albania under the lesser-known title of "Go Fuck Yourself (EStreetJoe)".

As i recall, that version was released in very limited distribution and is a pretty tough get in terms of nabbing a copy today
