I love Oasis. Wish they'd have been around when I was in college. Instead, my sub-generation had The Stone Roses for our fluffy-haired Northern English jangle rock band. They weren't as big assholes as Oasis, but I did like Oasis' music better. I saw in some guitar magazine a big article about the Stone Roses dude last year. he's really into boxing (as a boxer, not just fanboy).

My favorite Oasis: Slide Away.

Stone Roses: She Bangs the Drums, Made of Stone, Waterfall.

 

It's not long forgotten, because it hasn't been out that long, but I'm a big fan of David Gray's "Hospital Food" ...

 

I prefer She's Electric, a pretty similar tune.
