Because I have been on a George Harrison binge during the last few weeks -- ever since Ms. Bobcat's father gave me his copy of "The Best of GH" ...

    "Dark Horse"
    "What Is Life"

And, because pallister mentioned Uncle Tupelo's version a few pages back ...

    "Moonshiner," Bob Dylan

Some tunes I heard or thought of during many hours in the car the last few days:

"Come As You Are," Peter Wolf
"Lights Out," Peter Wolf (reminded of this song when I heard "Come As You Are")
"Look What The Cat Dragged In," Poison (SHADDUP!!!)
"Rock And Roll Dreams Come Through," Meat Loaf
"Mama Said Knock You Out," LL Cool J (the MTV Unplugged version of this was one of the best single live clips I've ever seen)
    "Good Times," INXS w/Jimmy Barnes
anything off the "Fast Times At Ridgemont High" soundtrack
anything off the "Streets of Fire" soundtrack
    "The Fire Inside," Bob Seger

Those Peter Wolf songs are great. Haven't heard them in ages. "99 Worlds" is a pretty cool one from those days by him too.

If we're going to mention the Hollies, their best is "Look Through Any Window," or "Carrie Ann."

Rodney Crowell, "Til I gain control again."

    Early CSN- "The Lee Shore."

The Band: "This Wheel's On Fire," and "Lookout, Cleveland."

Molly and the Heymakers: "Jimmy McCarthy's Truck."

Marty Stuart: "High on a Mountain."

Pure Prairie league, "I'll Fix Your Flat Tire, Merle."

Gordon Lightfoot, "Endless Wire," maybe is final big song.

and Bonnie Raitt: "Your Sweet and Shiny Eyes."

If there was a recording on Raitt and John Prine doing "Angel from Montgomery" as a duet I'd buy it in a heartbeat. They closed a concert with that in the early 1990s and it was outstanding.

Have to chime in with "Jawbone" and their rendition of "Long Black Veil."

    That is some good music.
