I find it hard to believe that you've never heard "Rock and Roll Dreams."

"You're the Reason God Made Oklahoma"
    David Frizzell and Shelly West

  4. I'd nominate all of "Music From Big Pink" and "The Band."
And "Full House,' the Geils Band's first live one.
Also, Frankie by Mississippi John Hurt and My Home Is In The Delta from Muddy.

Fucking great live album with killer shit like "First I Look At The Purse", "Pack Fair And Square", "Lookin' For A Love" and "Whammer Jammer", one of the greatest instrumentals ever.

Blow Your Face Out is another great J. Geils live album.

The Come As You Are video is a classic. He jumps the whole fucking time!

I wish I'd seen J. Geils in concert. Sounds like they were the live band of the era.

How this song didn't win Song of the Year back in the day is beyond me. Great great song to drive to.

Jason Bonham and his boys were decent for sure in the two albums they did together (JB also had a Jason Bonham Band album that was different people)

I was always partial to "Dreams" from the "Disregard for Timekeeping" album. At the start of the song the guy is ticked off at something and the song comes rushing in soon after. It's pretty good.

Good calls. I'll see your Cumbersome and raise you River's Edge.

Seven Mary Three was the subject of one of the most amusing photos I've ever seen. Details did a story on them after their debut album "American Standard" came out. The band was pictured, backsides to the cameras, at a bunch of urinals.
