    Mike Patton is a dope front man!
    One of my favorite singers/rappers/beat-boxer ever, though he's usually doing some crazy fusion/experimental rock nowadays.
    Not many white dudes can sing, rap and beat-box. ;D


    EDIT: Rage did not popularized rap-rock genre, it's either Faith No More or Red Hot Chilli Peppers.

    No particular order...Bruce and E Street, The Allmans, CCR, Aerosmith, Petty and the Heartbreakers.
     
  6. I was just about to mention these two. Chicago is, no doubt, one of the greatest American rock bands. And Skynyrd is up there, too.
