    Barney Miller has the greatest bass line of all time, and I'm shocked that I've never heard it sampled.

    Well, show was on from 1985-89, so you're kind of right about the 1980s thing.

    But East German? Techno pop? Not so much.

    The Equalizer theme was created by Stewart Copeland, of The Police.
