Guillen: Mariotti a "(bleeping) fag"

Not that I want Ozzie gone. He's entertaining on the Ann Coulter, wrestling heel manager-type level.

 

Ann Coulter? A phony? A plagiarist? A liar? Freakin Ozzie Guillen can manage baseball games. Is anyone watching?

 

Mariotti has run and hid for a couple of weeks now, long enough for Randy Walker, whom Mariotti torched absolutely mercilessly for years and years on end, to be cold and in the ground.

It'll be fun, when Eddie Munster gets back, to see what, if anything, he has to say. Either pile on a dead man, or completely flip-flop and spew disingenuous sugary platitudes.

 

If you are talking about the Jay Mariotti we all know and love, he would write a column filled with disingenuous sugary platitudes about Walker and then slam the NU athletics department for hiring Fitzgerald, a 31-year old coach with no head coach or even coordinator-level experience as nothing more than the university trying to hang on and connect to the glorious Rose Bowl run. Bonus points if he throws in a gratitious Gary Barnett reference.

 

Star, we don't know that Eddie's run and hid. He could have been under marching orders to lay low and if he opened his mouth (or his keyboard) for XX days, he's gone...

That said, a column described by his Papalness would be appropiate. Eddie makes Drew Sharp seem like Pollyanna....
