So now that you think you have an idea, how about giving it a break, ok? It really does get old and I don't think people like to be insulted by you or anyone else. You can have the last word. I just wanted to pull your coattail.

If we held a forum to discuss this issue in person and invited everyone on this thread, how many would want to attend?

Would attendance suffer if I mentioned each person would be allowed to bring a loaded handgun?

    I think I just heard a yes.

    A lot and not really.

The band of mad liberals would shoot two people, myself, then probably Lyman.

If they even knew how to fire a handgun, liberals though they are.

    Then there'd be peace.

Except that my relatives would sue for wrongful death.

But wait. Sue journalists? That piggy bank is light.

P.S. Apologies to the few liberals who have common sense and support the right to bear arms.

Anyone know who the manufacturer of the bullet that will go through a bullet-proof vest is?

    Here's two doses of reality:

    1) The drug market will use any means, including killing, to ensure their flow of cash. Do you think that outlawing guns will make them give up their business procedures? Hell, they have enough cash collectively to fund an army bigger than ours.

    2) Criminally ill people are dangerous. Reasonable people are not. Give both handguns. Who are you scared of?
