On "Real Time" right now, Amy Conservative Talker just said we need "nut control" in this country, not gun control. She listed Cho's track record and said, "What does it take to get kicked out of college these days?"

Does she really think kicking him out of college would have prevented him from killing people? He might have done it sooner, and it's not like you need to be a student to be able to walk onto the campus and start shooting.

Too bad conservative icon Ronald Reagan didn't understand this concept. He was totally against this concept of 'nut control' back to his days as a Cali governor.

Well, LOU DOBBS, one of the few sensible guys on CNN, just said on CBS that gun control has proven statistically not to work in Washington, D.C. and California. And that any argument by the gun control freaks lacks logic.

I guess since Lou Dobbs said it, it must be fact.

The reality is that without the hand gun the potential for a guy snapping and blowing away 30-people is reduced incredibly.

Does anyone honestly believe that Cho would have been able to obtain the guns he had illegally? He had serious issues socializing with others. Any attempt to purchase a gun illegally would fail.

    Then there is this story:

So, over some old farm equipment, Miss America shoots rounds into a tire. At the age of 82, she seems to have some decent aim. However, what would be the reaction if she missed by a little and the bullet ricocheted off of the rim and hit her?

Everyone just assumes that all is well that ends well. But there is little thought to the unending amount of potential problems that could have arisen from this situation.
