Happy Fourth week (end). How are you spending it?

Looks like a typical Tuesday-Saturday work week for me... with nice holiday pay for July 4 ....

and 17 days vake etc. starting on Sunday!

 

Packing. Shipping. Schlepping.

Hopefully in that order.

 

I've been reading the Declaration of Independence. Interesting stuff. It's amazing how timely it is these days.

 

I'm gonna watch Wimbledon, grill and maybe hit the local dirt track. I'm off Tuesday and Wednesday, no long weekend, but its the first holiday I've had off in over a year.

 

Got a "friendly" softball game today with some local lawyers.

 

I'm working five days this week, including the Fourth. With any luck, I can figure out how to get on the roof to maybe see some fireworks across town while not getting locked out in between editions.

 

I'm working until Thursday, when I'm helping a fellow SportsJournalists.commer move to New Orleans, so I won't be back in the office until next Tuesday.

Off Wednesday to do some hard-core beverage olympics (keep in mind that it's a marathon, not a sprint), then back to work Thursday before a three-day weekend.

Actually, I was contemplating just how cool it would be to have the ability to work from the beach. I even scoped out a few models of beach chairs on my last coastal visit and then spent a good five minutes trying to work out the logistics.
