Does it specifically mention the Lynch story? No.
Does the Lynch story fit the paradigm? Absolutely.
Do both of these reduce the military's credibility to nil? Yes.
QED, for me, if not for thee.
At least I'm not arguing press bias on the basis "of It was TWO days after the pope died!" The funeral services for the old fellow were rather prolonged. I suspect, though I do not know, that we can find similar stories of how the death of soldiers was "buried" in what seemed to be the six months it took to get Ronald Reagan in the ground.
    See you around.
BTW, if you're a "centrist," I'm Robert Taft.

If premis of story is true than the credibility of the media is reduced to nil as well if they can manipulated that easily.

    Holy hell.
The militias are in the army.

UPDATE -- I also agree with Boom, although I think he underestimates the military's skill at propaganda.

Rove would start the fire just so he could get the good press for saving the child.

And then he would block the investigation into whether it was arson.

    I'm only half joking.

Sorry to resurect this mess.... But I couldn't help but thinking about this thread when I read the story below.

When it takes a bunch of smarmy Europeans to lecture us about how "kidnapping suspected terrorists (which really can mean anyone) and taking them to third world countries where they can be tortured" is a human rights abuse, you know our country has gotten far, far away from the ideals it should be embracing.
