The funny thing is, the one time Mickey was actually saying something useful and important he gets tossed over the railing.

Trading guns for Irish Whiskey to sell back home. Undercutting Seagrams which dealt with Chicago bootleggers.

Will we see Joseph P. Kennedy in an upcoming episode?

That was a very nice episode for Buscemi. My favorite line -- "I pretend all day. Must I pretend with you?"

Also -- does Margaret's daughter die? That was a lot of time spent showing her being ill.

I think that's pretty evident. No use showing her sick in the last scene if it's not going to come into play soon.

I think they'll have some childhood-disease drama the next couple episodes.

Historically, "Empire" is set a couple years too late to get into the 1918 influenza pandemic, but they may be trying to work some kind of storyline in to show how sudden mortal childhood diseases were still pretty common in the 1920s.

I missed the first 15 minutes tonight... what did the kid get diagnosed with that warrants burning her stuff?

Jimmy crossed the wrong Philly butcher. And welcome back Dunn Pearnsley (... not sure how it's spelled, but damn I love that guy).

  11. another great episode..the kid getting polio really hurt my heart. Hate to see kids in pain. This has been a great, great season. Now that Nucky is back in play, what role will he have in the final three episodes?

I am hurting for Mickey Doyle too. What kind of man lets another throw him off the balcony without trying to go back at him?

Perhaps he is just biding his time.
