You see the same people pop up in a lot of HBO series/movies/miniseries. I watched Mildred Pierce a few weeks ago and saw Mickey Doyle. If you are a character actor and can break into the HBO stable you seem to have it made.

Well, Richard was pretty pissed at Jimmy's mom for keeping little Jimmy in the brother and kicking him out. We have already seen his temper and his willingness to kill. Don't know if be will kill her (forgot her name) and the gangsters in the brothel, or just will take little Jimmy away. Don't know what kind of influence the new girlfriend will play.

Nucky killed Jimmy, although we're not 100 percent certain Richard knows that.

Richard flat out said he was OK with Nucky killing Jimmy. He said, "Jimmy was soldier, and he lost."
I think he'll wind up siding with Nucky (if he sides with anyone) to get the kid out of the brothel/gangsters' way.

Yeah, you're right, now that I think about it. I remembered them interacting, but I didn't remember if they got that specific.

It was right after he killed the butcher guy in Philadelphia.

What an episode. The opening scene was tense, as was the majority of the hour. Wish Nelson was in it more, but they have so many characters they have to split Nelson/Chalky time.

That last episode was Wire level ... I was engaged from the first minute to the last. No dull moments. No wasted breaths. I agree with Sepinwall. It took a while to get here, but all of the setup this season was worth it, because it's all paid off in some way. Capone's line at the end was the tits.

This season has been kind of frustrating when you have to wait seven days between episodes and it seemed like not much was happening, but I bet it plays really well for watching consecutive episodes on DVD. It was a sloooooooow burn with stories that seemed to not have much to do with anything finally starting to pay off.

Holy crap. I didn't realize this was the season finale coming on right now.
