You’d think any doctor who was treating her would *demand* to be allowed to speak on the record by the family. He’d probably get more publicity in having sound bites out there than he has in his entire medical career.

 

Well, there you DO get into HIPAA considerations. Doctors cannot publicly comment on the condition of patients without consent.
