FWIW, wow, she looks awful in the commercial they aired at halftime.

 

I don't know if I'd expect anything else. It wouldn't be in her best interest to look like the picture of health here.

 

You just know someone in that “interview” will have a shirt or hat on that has her go fund me on it.

 

I just watched a short clip. Mary Lou looks like she’s 70.

Why didn't she have insurance?

If I give her the benefit of the doubt (shouldn't I?), then yeah, getting health insurance is rough. Without any employer contribution (which I've done as a partner in my firm, so no employee rate), health insurance for a family of 4 is close to $20k-30k per year.

 

My partner (56 F) pays $1,100 a month for a mildly shitty plan on the exchange. A really shitty plan is $600 a month in my state.
