Inside, Jahan and a co-worker, Karim, stood for hours amid the smell of old frying oil, making the Mash Donald’s version of the Big Mac.

Instead of calling it the Big Mash, however, the owner chose “Mash Donald’s baguette burger,” a hefty mix of meat, cheese and turkey ham (cost: about $3).

    That actually sounds pretty good.

    Yes, they do. Sometimes.

A lot of companies sell big-ticket items for a loss on Black Friday, for example, in hopes that it will drive foot traffic and even out with purchases of non-sale goods.

I always amazes me how astronomically better the service is at Chick-fil-A compared with other fast food places and how motivated the workers are. I don't think they pay much more.

Could be. Pay stinks, but you'll go to heaven.

So they've got that going for them.

Chick Fil A is always our first stop after the airport when visiting my Father in Law in Central Florida. What stood out to me was that all of the McD employees were black and almost all of the CFA employees were white. How does this happen at restaurants that are a 10 second walk from each other?

I don't understand that either. But I have noticed that as well in other states.

God doesn't want white people to make decent money?

I knew the devil was behind all those hedge fund managers!

They're not hoping to "even out" with purchases of non-sale goods. They're counting on MAKING A PROFIT with purchases of non-sale goods. That's doing better than evening out.

No company would give itself two choices --- lose money or break even. What's the point of doing anything if those are your choices?
