Answered some questions, which is all I really hope for.
    Some observations
The young Haitian had on a necklace and the symbol on it was the same as the neck marking.
I wish the guest star credits would roll after the show. Saw Missy Perygrym's (SP) name, so I knew she was going to get introduced, I just didn't know when. Same thing for George Takei.
    Ruins the surprise.
So if you gave off radiation, wouldn't you get sick from it? It killed dude's wife, but not him?
Dr. Who was a bad guy, but now a good guy or is he just a guy who wants to be left alone?
The bridge scene. Was that filmed on the Bridge to Nowhere in California? I thought if that was the case, that makes for a nice bit of symbolism.

You're confusing your bit characters. Dum Dum Dugan was part of Nick Fury's retinue. Fred Duncan was a bureau man who helped Prof X.

The weird symbol stems from the Japanese warrior from whom Hiro is descended, and who had powers of his own, and whose sword he's searching for. It's no coincidence, obviously, that Linderman has it.

Regardless of how long this high lasts, this show is awesome. It's the only show I look forward to.

Whoops. Ok, I have no idea who Fred Duncan is. Must be from before my time on X-Men comics.

When they did the origins stuff back in Nos. 38-52, that's when the whole X-Men/government connection was hashed out.

No one was reading the comic at the time anyway. That's why they canceled it after No. 66.

wasn't arguing anything there chief, just sharing a thought.

also, it's tough to put faith in any tv show's writers as they move on quite often, leaving once-great shows staggering all the time.

... and, what the heck happened to "internet chick?" wasn't she headed for odessa, too?

Oh, so you're talking the beginings of Uncanny. Way before my time as a fan.

I apologize in advance that I haven't read this whole thread, because there were episodes I hadn't seen and I didn't want to spoil them.

But the fire guy is the caveman from the Geico commercials, right?

    I don't think so.
Cribbed from another site where speculation was rampant that one was played by Val Kilmer.

It's the eyes and the forehead. Next time they show him, focus on that part, plus the hair. I swear it could be him. Apparently I'm wrong.

A site called "heroeswiki.com", however, says he's married to Mrs. Bennet in real life.

Holy shit, it's not over and this is one of the better episodes. Twists, turns, everything. Holy shit.
