I just got done watching last week's and last night's episode. Holy shit. This show is getting better and better each week. Now I can't wait for Monday's episode. I want to know who Claire's father is. And Hiro is definitely one of the best characters.

I'll say it again. Great show.

  2. Loved how Doctor Who's character's name is Claude Raines.

I did the double-episode thing last night as well. I enjoyed it, but I had a thought.

I don't know how this has escaped me for so long, but it dawned upon me that the powers these characters have are completely at odds with physics and medical science. I mean, we're talking about genetic changes, but how exactly does a genetic anomaly cause you to make fire with your hands or fly without even making an effort to swat the air? I mean, I'll buy that a person's body can regenerate itself. At least we know of species that can do such stuff. But the bulk of it is super-natural in a major way.

I know, it's a buzz kill, but I thought I'd get that off my chest. How it took me so long to recognize this is beyond me.

My wife says there were only 36 heroes on the researcher's list. I have a feeling we're going to see all of them before the show is over. We counted about 20 that already are characters. There are a few more that could be unknown heroes, such as Claire's dad.

Umm, they showed Claire's dad last night. It was Nathan Petrelli (SP?) the one who can fly and is running for Congress.

I keep forgetting that for some reason. I think it's because I can't wrap my brain around it.

OK, I haven't read all five pages. I'm too lazy.

This show is absolutely phenomenal. Great acting and great plot twists make this show da' shit. And, yes, Claire is hot for being an 18-year-old (15 on the show).

The whole Peter Petrelli exploding thing still baffles me. I can't wait to find out what is going on with that. And goddamn is Silar evil.

Finally rediscovering this show fr the first time since the first episode. My TV antenna could only pull in either Fox or NBC, if it were set for one, the other would be in bad shape. And while working Monday evenings, I chose to tape Prison Break.

But this show is damn good. I really enjoy the buildup, and especially like the fact viewers have the patience to stay with it. I'll join the chorus regarding Ms. Panetierre. 17 years old, but absolutely beautiful girl and a solid actress.

Hell, the whole emsemble does a great job.

You do realize it's not supposed to be real, right?

It's X-Men comic books repackaged for prime time television. The science isn't supposed to be real. If you can't manage to suspend your disbelief, you're just not going to enjoy it.
