Yeah, Ted was not wearing a ring.

Good, but not great episode. Like DD, I thought Robin getting all Canadian was very funny. So was Barney dressing as an old man.

I thought the episode was a huge shoutout to the fans.
"Please keep watching. We are trying very hard to stay on the air, so sometimes we have to pull stunts like Britney, but that isn't us. This episode was the kind of show we want to do. Please keep watching and tell all your friends to watch."

"PS: Will any of you guys get pissed if we go to Fox? CBS is all stupid, and we don't like it here. Fox has said that they want us. Let us know."

"PPS: We thought Robin getting all Canada-y was hilarious as well."

I knew Stella wasn't the mother. I just never thought her and Ted had great chemistry.

And Robin was dead-on with her speech to Ted. Ted Mosby is supposed to have the greatest romance any of us have ever seen. He's not supposed to settle for the first person that didn't totally annoy him and actually wanted to get married. He was right when he first dumped her, but in Ted fashion over-thought it and came crawling back.

Funny, I just wrote almost the same thing on the Heroes thread, but that was the best episode I've seen of this show in a while.

Bravo for this episode. Though I didn't need replays of the clues Stella and Tony were headed back together.

And who was that playing Stella's sister? Rowr!

I missed the first half of the episode, but the second half was good ... well, as good as a show bringing up exes and unresolved feelings and such can be ... :) but good second half.

Good question. Maybe somebody'll add it on IMDB. She looked familiar, but I can't place her.

A quick Google of "Stella's sister HIMYM" took me to a message board that said Danneel Harris was the sister. Never heard of her.

Yup. I think that's her. Here's her IMDB page

She was or is on One Tree Hill, which explains why I've never heard of her, either.

Some very nice pictures pop up on a search, too.

A few I definitely wouldn't want to open at work, but plenty of 'em in clothes. Here's the link to google images.

Aside from the completely unnecessary recaps at the end, this was the first episode of the season I thoroughly enjoyed. The characters were all exactly who the writers originally intended them to be. And the two scenes of Stella and Robin interacting in the faux receiving lines both legitimately made me laugh out loud.

Robin to Stella: "Your husband used to nail me like three times a day."
Stella to Robin: "Suck it, bitch!"
