HIMYM Season....um...what season is it?

I just didn't care enough about the issue at hand.

They usually do heart break so well, and this just wasn't very heartbreaking.

And, the secondary plot line -- involving Marshall -- wasn't great either.

I thought the Marshall plot sucked. The parts with Robin were ok.

I liked all of it. Sure the Marshal part was ridiculous, but still thought it was fine.

To me, HIMYM has very much been on its game this season.

Haven't watched lately, until tonight... and they smack me with a Cleveland-LeBron joke?

    Yellow flag. Unnecessary roughness.

I liked the ending. I'm one of the few people who've always believe Ted and Robin have more chemistry than Barney and Robin.

I think part of the reason that I'm not invested in Ted/Robin is he stated from the very beginning that Robin is not the mother. They've got good chemistry but we knew seven years ago that she was not the mother.

I agree. Robin is an awesome chic but we know she's not the mom so who cares.

This left me a bit stumped as to which direction we're headed.

I loved the Robin storyline. Absolutely loved it. Thought it was one of the best, most heartfelt storylines they've ever had.

The Marshall storyline was too over the top and would have been better if Jason Segel had been trying to play it cool and let the kid have friends over, then let them all have a beer, then realized how out of control everything had become too late.

To be honest, I really haven't liked much of the Lilly-and-Marshall move to the 'burbs plot so far.

Missed the first 15 minutes, spent the last 15 minutes trying to figure out what happened in the first 15 minutes. Kinda got it, but I better go to the tape for proof. My wife sighed when Robin's kids disappeared from the couch.
My wife even mentioned that Robin has never looked prettier, but not so fond of her hairdo. I was thinking the same thing.

A good read, the wife had it up on the computer when I got home.

The bait and switch with the kids disappearing made Sepinwall fucking PISSED. It's the first time I've ever seen him use the word Bullshit in a review.

I was hoping that the kids at the end were adopted because I think Robin would make an amazing mother.
